Dinner Dance 2011
The club will be holding a joint dinner dance with Cloone ladies GAA club once again this year. The date is set for Sat Jan 15th in The Shannon Key West Hotel in Rooskey. Music on the night is by The Late Nite Radio Band followed by a DJ and tickets cost €35 each.

Christmas Table Quiz 2010
We will be running our Annual Christmas Table Quiz once again this year. The venue will again be Creegans Bar and the quiz takes place on Monday December 27th. The starting time will be 9:30 sharp and it is hoped all our members along with any other local quiz enthusiasts will come along.

Seamus Heslin RIP
It was with sadness that we learned of the death of Seamus Heslin formerly of Drumcauskeen and Glasnevin Dublin. Seamus played with the club throughout the 50's and 60's and was a constant presence on Cloone teams of this era. Seamus won Senior football leagues with Cloone at the start and end Read On....
New Date for Development Draw
Our park development draw scheduled for October 16th has been postponed by one week due to a clash with other GAA activities. Cloone compete well in All-Ireland Sevens
Cloone were Leitrim's representatives in The All-Ireland Intermediate Sevens as the regining Intermediate champions on Saturday last in Ratoath. Ladies win Connacht League Title
Well done to the ladies team who added the Ladbrokes.com Connacht Ladies Club League to the Senior Championship won the week before. Cloone comprehensively defeated St. Mary's Carrick-on-Shannon on a scoreline of 3-15 to 0-4.

Ladies Junior Championship
The Ladies Junior team were in action on Sunday against Drumkerrin in the Junior Chammpionship. Cloone lost a few players to the senior team the day before and despite a spirited display were well beaten by a much stronger Drumkerrin side.

Seniors Retain Championship Status
Cloone retained their Senior Championship status thanks to a four point win over Allen Geals in Ballinamore on Sunday evening last. Cloone took the lead early on and it was a lead for long periods of the game.

U-14 Girls loose out in 9 a side final.
Hard luck to the girls under 14 team who were defeated by Leitrim Gaels in the 9 a side final on Saturday evening last in Fenagh. The girls battled hard all through the game and despite a late come back were unlucky to lose the game on a 2-8 to 2-5 scoreline.

Our return to senior championship proved unsucessful against last years beaten finalists Carrigallen on Saturday evening last in Ballinamore. Work is progressing well on the new development at St. Mary's park. The development which consists of a new press and function area along with gym / general purpose room has been in progress for the past few weeks. Cloone lose out to Gortletteragh
Cloone were defeated by Gortletteragh in the Division II league this evening in Gortletteragh. Despite missing several players through injury we competed well and were very much in contention for until the last ten minutes.

Leitrim Ladies win Division 4 Title.
Cloone had five representatives on the victorious Leitrim ladies team that won the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies National Football League Division 4.
Leitrim came from six points down in the first half as Limerick's search for elusive national silverware continues.

Tough Championship Draw
Cloone have landed a tough draw in our first year back in Senior Championship. Cloone are pitted in group 3 along with last years beaten finalists Carrigallen and 2005 champions Kiltubrid. Kiltubrid also contested the 2007 final and so both teams have huge expierience at this level.

League defeat to Glencar-Manorhamilton
Cloone suffered a surprise defeat to Glencar-Manorhamilton in round two of the ACL Division 2 League. Cloone were well positioned at half time but lost their way and focus in the second half before loosing out on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-12.
Leitrim Scór Semi-Finals
Cloone failed to get through the Leitrim qualifiers on Senior Scor Saturday night last in Drumreilly. In Question Time competition Gus Cooke, Seamus Tiernan and Shane Tiernan competed well but fell short by a few points of the winners. Membership for 2010
Membership is now being renewed for the forthcoming year and is priced at €30 for players, €20 for non-players and €5 for juveniles.We would like to encourage as many as possible to become members of the club and in particular those who are no longer living in the area to become members and keep up Read On....
Annual General Meeting 2010
The Annual General Meeting of the club took place yesterday in the Community Centre before a reasonable crowd. Full reports of the years activity were given by the chairman and secretary. Dinner Dance Update
Our Dinner Dance goes ahead in The Shannon Key West Hotel in Rooskey on Saturday next January 16th. The intermediate team will be presented with their championship medals on the night by All-Ireland medal winner and former All-Star Declan Meehan of Galway.
