Seniors bow out of Championship
Our seniors were out on Sunday last when they played
Gortlettragh in the quarter finals in Ballinamore. Unfortunately we were
defeated by the stronger side on the day on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-7 which
ended our Championship campaign.

Good Start to Championship for Seniors
Our seniors were out on Sunday morning last in the first round of the championship. We overcame Melvin Gaels in Drumkeerin on a scoreline of 2-07 to 1-04. The annual Cloone Bank Holiday weekend is fixed for Sunday 1st July. We are hosting a BBQ in the village on the site of the fair green beside Cloone Community Centre. Juniors take League Title
Well done to our junior team who defeated Glencar Manorhamilton on a scoreline of 2-8 to 11 points in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada on Sunday last. Well done to our senior team who had a very well deserved win over Ballinaglera on Friday night last in the park on a scoreline of 3-06 to 0-5. 10K Road Race A Great Success
Taking place in extremely hot conditions in Cloone on Sunday last we were delighted when approxiately 200 rose to the challenge and competed our inaugural 10K race and 5K run.There were 117 participants in the 10K, 51 in the 5K and 11 families.

Good Wins for Seniors and Juniors
Our seniors were out again on Saturday evening where they played Leitrim Gaels in the Division 2 league. It was a good win for us on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-6. Turlough Conefrey Memorial Tournament
Our u12's and school teams participated in the Turlough Conefrey Memorial on Sunday 6th May in Aughavas. We played two very entertaining games against Aughavas. 10K Race and 5K Fun Run/Walk - Race Route

An U-10 and U-8 blitz was held on Saturday 28th April between Cloone and Bornacoola. A number of very sporting and entertaining games were played with everyone getting a game. Race Night/Medal Presentation

Our Seniors had another very successful day out on Sunday last, when they beat Glencar Manorhamilton on a scorline of 2-8 to 0-7 in Cloone. We got off to a great start in the first half scoring 1-7 before the break but we had a quieter second half scoring just 1-1.

Membership for 2012
The annual Club membership fees are now due and can be paid to Registrar, Alan Canning, or any club officer. Membership rates are; Players €30, Students €20, Non-playing members €20. Our 25 card drive was held in McKeons Bar on Friday night last and was a great success.
