Club AGM 2016

The club AGM held on Saturday evening last in the Club house was a hugely successful event with a large attendance present. It was refreshing to see such a large attendance, with very positive contributions from those present.

Secretary Martin McCaffrey gave a very detailed report on the year’s activities outlining in detail the activities of the junior and intermediate teams throughout the course of the year. He paid tribute to the outgoing team management and thanked them for their outstanding work with both teams the highlight being the success in the junior league final.

Chairman Michael Lohan also gave a very positive report on the years activities and thanked everybody who had helped with the running of the club throughout the year and paid a special tribute to our Scór participants and their mentors on a their performances in both Leitrim Co Final and in the Connacht final.

Treasurer John Reynolds provided the best news of all in his financial report when he reported a profit for the year and that despite all the recent structural developments at the club grounds the club is debt free.

The following officers were elected for 2016 President Pat McNamara, Chairperson, Michael Lohan, Vice Chairperson Seamus McGuire, Secretary Martin McCaffrey Assistant Secretary Liam Reynolds, Treasurer John Reynolds, Assistant Treasurer Gerry Keegan Pro Gerry McGovern, ASAP Officer Seamus McGuire Oifigeach Gaelge Damian o Braonáin Registrar Seamus McGuire, Insurance officer Adrian Nichols, Development officer Sean McGovern, Coaching officer Niall Brennan, Children’s officer Marie McCrann, Assistant Children’s officer Eamonn Cunningham, I.T. officer Enda Tiernan, Scór Co­ coordinator Gerry Keegan, Co Board delegates 
Sean McGovern, Michael Lohan Liam Reynolds Martin McCaffrey, and Coiste ns nÓg delegates Ciaran Casey and Eileen Donohue.

The Club also set up a finance committee with a number of people volunteering to participate. A very successful meeting as we look forward to the ahead.
