Press release from AIB as Cloone are announced Leitrim Club of the year 2002:
“Cloone are the AIB Leitrim Club of the Year for 2002.
The club won promotion to the senior ranks for the first time in five years, while the ladies clinched the league and championship double.
They have 124 playing members and field teams from under-10 to senior level. They have developed their facilities over the last two years to include an all-weather pitch, electronic scoreboard and disabled access to the stand.
As one of the 32 county winners, Cloone will be presented with an award and a development grant of €2,000 at a function in Croke Park on Monday, February 3.
They are also in the running for the Connacht and national titles.”
Cloone receive Leitrim AIB Club of the Year 2002. Presentation in Croke Park February 3rd 2003.
